Google Chrome version 54 was just released. If you already run Google Chrome your browser will automatically upgrade the next time you open the browser. New features include a rewrite of how YoutTube Flash videos play which improves performance and a security overhaul of how certain types of code is sandboxed.

Rumors have been swirling that Apple will be releasing an entirely new overhauled Mac Book Pro line for this Christmas season.  Apple has been working on some new upgrades, one of the most likely is a secondary touchscreen display on the top of the keyboard. It will likely replace the function keys and be able to display different graphics and icons depending on what is running on the computer. A similar technology was patented by the start-up company Sonder which Apple is currently acquiring.  We should be able to know for certain within the next few weeks as Apple is expected to announce the new line by the end of the month.
