This is an important tip to know if you have Windows 10.
Apps that run in the background can run even when they’re not being used. This means that they drain the battery, collect data, and can download and install updates.
Some users may not think this is a problem, but others may want to turn it off. Here is what you should do:
- Click on Settings.
- Select Privacy
- Find Apps in the Background
- Turn off the setting that says “Let apps run in the background.”
- You can also turn individual applications on or off instead of turning them all off at once.
